Every great company begins with a problem worth solving.
For Adam Seker, running two high-end restaurants meant more than serving great food. It meant managing teams, orders, and guests—while wrestling with outdated point-of-sale systems that got in the way more than they helped.
For Ferhat Oz, a technical co-founder with 20 years of experience in software development, systems engineering, and infrastructure, it was the perfect moment to start something new. When the two crossed paths as Adam prepared to open his second restaurant, Ferhat stepped in to help with his POS challenges.
Those late-night troubleshooting sessions turned into long conversations about the future of restaurant technology. Together, they realized the industry needed something different: software designed exclusively for restaurants—built from the ground up to solve the daily challenges operators face.
That’s how Alpha Serve was born.
Soon after, Samet Balta, a senior engineer with more than a decade of experience, joined the team. With his craftsmanship and dedication, Samet began building the platform brick by brick, laying the foundation for a system restaurants could truly rely on.
What started as frustration with the status quo grew into a mission: to give restaurants the technology they deserve. Today, Alpha Serve is more than just a POS—it’s the operating system for modern restaurants, created by engineers, tested by restaurateurs, and shaped by real-world experience.
